Title: New Genre of Event?
Post by: Uhlaf on July 15, 2011, 09:24:33 PM
After the huge success of our public conquest event I think we all especially our NCOs, bookmanz and silent deserve a pat on the back. We all had a ton of fun and everyone seemed to love it. However that is not the topic of this thread;

Before the training started a number of us had a HUGE 600 man battle with bots, it was a ball and a half.
here are a couple screens.

How it works is that how ever many human players there are the 300 per team is divided up equally between them and then you boss them around.

Yes, it wasn't easy for some machines, most of us didn't notice it though and it was a lot of fun. If we did something like this, most likely just for fun, everyone would be a section leader with Officers and NCO's each taking several sections under their command, answering to the teams commander. This could be an interesting way to have a purely fun scrimmage.
