We use the Public TS server.www.MilitaryGamers.com will be hosting another organized line battle on Friday. The battle will be open to all public players and organized MM regiments. Please join the server and TeamSpeak one half hour ahead of the start in order to split players into even teams and give new players a brief period to practice line drills and become familiar with organized musket tactics. The server will be passworded, and only people in TeamSpeak will receive the password once the event has begun. This battle will be fought by infantry only, there will be no cavalry or artillery fielded (unless attendance numbers allow for it). Small units of skirmishers (no more than 7 players; 6 rifles and an officer) will be allowed for each side if needed. Otherwise, regiments will be expected to fight in lines of 10-20 players each, adhering to commonly accepted line battle doctrine.

MARTY!
Fixed, thanks Royale
Aw I was enjoying the whole back to the future thing...
That's the power of love!
Where we're going we don't need roads...
Btw i think i can make it to this friday linebattle, finally :)
Seriously? Fritz you're going to kill yourself by staying up that late.
Or should I say early?
Seems like there were a lot of tiny skirmish-like regiments out there last night. I wanted to keep this suggestion in our regiment so that the Taleworlds forums don't take this the wrong way. Would it be possible to merge regiments of 6 men or less that are not skirmishers together? This way we'll have a solid larger regiments instead of many small ones hiding on there own.
Just a thought for 5arge. Thanks again for all the time and effort you put into these these 5arge.
Personally, I don't mind charging up hill to take on 3 regiments at once only to mop the floor with them.
At the start of the battle, all of the smaller regiments were told to act as platoons working with eachother instead of acting on their own. I guess it was too much to ask. The 88th and the 29HA were combined into one regiment though.
Yeah I didn't think it was too bad. The regiments stuck together most of the time. The only two that I saw problems with were the 13th and the 4th. Other than those two, everyone else was in a larger formation and sticking together.
