Additional Comments

In general, I'd like to assist the EPI in training newcomers and encouraging a sense of role-play when out on the virtual battlefield. Whether it be maintaining authenticity through the usage of historically-accurate tactics or getting immersed into combat roles, keeping that kind of enthusiasm alive is my primary objective.

In terms of roles, my interests lie in medicine and engineering. I'd like to pursue specializations in combat medicine and vehicle support (i.e. transports, armored cars, tanks). Finally, I also have interest in general leadership roles, both in combat and off the field.

MG-Schütze hier! Ich bin bereit!

I'll gladly fight off the Reds with my lovely "Helga." However, if there's ever a need for a "stand-by" NCO, I'm also up for filling in the role of squad leader.

See you all on the battlefield, kameraden!

On March 8th, at 7:30PM Eastern Standard Time, we will be fighting a French Army regiment -- the Garde Imperiale -- in a one-on-one skirmish linebattle. Medals will be awarded to those who participate and fight in the linebattle -- so be sure to come along and fight against those pesky Frenchies!

Our Code of Conduct:
As general guidelines, members are to practice the following points:

1. Be respectful to everyone! This includes your comrades in the 1st, members of other regiments, public players, admins, officers, non-commissioned officers and people on the forums.

2. Conduct yourself in a professional and mature manner. This means that cursing, glitching, trolling, flaming and name calling or other forms of fighting are not allowed. This is especially important when we are in events or on a public server.

3. Follow. Orders. It is paramount for the survival of the regiment that all orders given by our Offiziere and Unteroffizieren are followed to the letter and without question or argument. There is a time and place to discuss tactics and whether or not certain orders should be given or not. Directly after the order is given is not one of those times. This also applies to the rules laid out by admins on their servers. We respect the right of admins to run their channels.

4. Do not retaliate. Regardless of the situation, if something is done to you (for example: teamkilling, insulting, etc.) you are not to retaliate, but are instead to inform an officer or admin and report the problem. Anyone found retaliating will be dealt with in the same manner as the original offender.

Attendance Policy:
While we fully understand if you have to miss a training or line battle, your attendance is a significant factor in receiving future promotion and any advancement in the regiment.  We encourage that you attend at least ONE training per week and ONE line battle per week.

Also, being active on the forums is a must. If time is not shown upon the forum, you will be removed from the Rekruten roster and will be subject to re-enlistment.

Message [1stEPI] Reinhardt for information, or post your name here and we'll add you to the roster. When you do post that you want to join, please put down an "American" name for your character.

The 6th Infantry Regiment ("Regulars") was formed on the 11th of January, 1812. Zachary Taylor, later the twelfth President of the United States, was a commander of the unit. The motto, "Regulars, By God!" derives from the Battle of Chippawa, in which British General Riall noticed that the approaching regiment had on the uniforms of militia, which the British had defeated at Queenstown Heights. Instead, the Americans pressed the attack against the British, staying disciplined and unyielding even in the face of sustained musket volleys and cannon fire. Riall is assumed to have said in response to this, "Those are Regulars, By God!"

The 6th is conducted in the same fashion as the 1st East Prussian Infantry. Same drill and same military conduct and bearing. The regiment will be, of course, be fighting as the United States against the United Kingdom in the Mount and Blade: Napoleonic Wars mod, War of 1812. We are still waiting to create events for the mod, but this will change soon enough. As of now, anyone can enlist in the regiment and invite others from other regiments or newcomers to M&B to play the mod as well. This won't be a replacement of our regular schedule, but rather it is meant to supplement and add some variety to our already present events on Napoleonic Wars.

Ranks:

- Captain
- Lieutenant
- Sergeant
- Corporal
- Private
- Volunteer

Soldiers of 6th Regiment, 1st Company:

- Captain John Morgan (Reinhardt)
- Lieutenant Bob Johnson (Migoobear)
- Sergeant Spencer Reroef (Confuzzled)
- Private Will Smith, Company Musician (Moose)
- Private Daniel Boone (Rommel)
- Private Oliver Hazard Perry, Company Color Bearer (Dracolithfiend)
- Private William Mackenzie (Beef)
- Private John Wayne (Daeyshepard)

CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT

SOLDAT  BENNY         A2

Has successfully completed the requirements for
RED EAGLE ORDER, 2ND CLASS

Awarded this  24th     day of     MAY In the Year of our Lord   TWO-THOUSAND FOURTEEN

For Meritorious service to the 1st East Prussian Infantry as set forth in the following citation:

On this day, Soldat Benny showed the necessary actions required for this prestigious award. As we flanked around an enemy hill, we crested and prepared to engage an enemy line regiment at the top. Unknown to us at the time, another regiment was preparing to flank us from the right. We charged hastily, attempting to push them off the hill and take it in the name of glorious Prussia. Many of our comrades fell, but Soldat Benny remained standing -- slaying a total of six enemies with his bayonet. Due to his actions, the enemy was stalled and eventually crushed, resulting in a victory for us and our allies. It is because of this that I award him this medal, with all the prestige and honour that goes along with it.
